Together, we find ourselves navigating uncharted waters. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us, and our thoughts are with you and your families during this difficult time.
As we monitor and learn more about the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, we want to assure you that Dalkia Energy Solutions is taking the necessary and recommended measures to keep our employees, customers, subcontractors and the public safe. We are following the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and federal and local authorities, and are in strict compliance with all federal and local government mandates. We will continue to monitor, evaluate and respond accordingly in an effort to safely manage this evolving situation.
We understand that we are a service organization, and we provide these services predominately on our customer’s sites. Therefore, we have updated our formal safety protocols to include:
- Screening statements regarding diagnosis of or exposure to COVID-19, as well as travel history and symptom declarations
- Additional guidance regarding proper protocol for reporting, as well as necessary steps for medical clearance, if required
- A commitment to the CDC prevention recommendations including hand washing, social distancing, self-isolation during sickness, and more
All of our subcontractors, individually, and all Dalkia Operations personnel, are required to certify adherence to Dalkia’s updated safety policies. This mandatory self-certification will provide added assurance that our employees and our subcontractors are practicing safe and healthy work methods in your facilities with the work you have entrusted to us.
While we will continue to focus on the health and safety of those around us, we are doing our best to serve our clients and provide you with the services and value you expect from us, even as we activate our business continuity plans and do our part to help slow the spread of COVID-19 by implementing travel restrictions, virtual meetings and home-based work plans.
