Dr. Mark French
CSP, Chief Human Resources Officer
As chief human resources officer, Mark is responsible for developing human resource strategies to align with Dalkia Energy Solutions’ vision and support the company’s business plan and strategic direction.
Prior to this role, Mark also served as Dalkia’s senior health, safety & environmental (HSE) manager. With two decades of experience in various industries at the site, regional and global levels, he is dedicated to driving safety improvements through systemic people-based approaches.
Mark brings extensive experience to Dalkia, previously holding similar HSE positions at Wayfair, Amazon and Honeywell PMT. He also holds memberships in the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), American Psychological Association (APA), Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychologists (SIOP) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Mark has continued to advance his education throughout his career, earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Murray State University, a master’s degree in business administration from Bethel University and a Ph.D. in industrial & organizational psychology from Capella University. Mark is also a registered emergency medical technician (EMT) and previously helped to save the life of a coworker who suffered a heart attack on the job. He lives near Fulton, Kentucky with his wife and two children and enjoys working around the house, golfing and playing Xbox.
