Our Customer
Atria Senior Living is one of the nation’s largest senior living community operators with more than 225 locations across North America. Starting in 2015, Atria’s goal was to convert all communities to 100% LED lighting with desired outcomes of energy savings and improved community appearance.
Project
Dalkia collaborated closely with Atria to establish a national retrofit lighting specification with the goal of creating a standardized look and feel for communities throughout their portfolio. This specification involved a partnership with a major international lighting manufacturer and development of a new product line specifically for this application. In addition to improved appearance, Dalkia worked closely with the client to prioritize the national rollout to drive the highest initial savings possible and procure maximum rebate dollars.
Leveraging Dalkia’s expertise in nationwide logistics and project management, Dalkia has thus far delivered 125 projects across 26 states to date. Going forward, Dalkia and Atria will partner to roll out additional phases of energy efficiency work across a next set of Atria facilities.
Results
Lighting upgrades implemented through the end of 2019 will generate approximately $1.9M in annual energy savings for the retirement community. In addition, Dalkia has secured nearly $200k in rebate dollars on behalf of the customer.
